Good haul today, from the bookshop and charity shops as well as a fun tour of the flea market where I acquired a new penknife.
A Brief History of Fighting Ships by David Davies;
The Chequer Board by Nevil Shute (slightly foxed);
A History of British Serial Killing by David Wilson;
Growing Up and Growing Old in Ancient Rome by Mary Harlow and Ray Laurence;
In Search of the Edge of Time by John Gribbin;
The If Game by Catherine Storr;
Confessions of a Police Constable by PC Matt Delito;
Friday's Child and The Convenient Marriage by Georgette Heyer.
Plus a couple of books for my dad and husband got a few books as well! Phew.
Beautiful weather, too, and new leaves on the hopeful trees.
