Dropped into the Co-op on my way back from the doctors and had a sort through their charity books. Picked up this:
Saddle Tramp in the Lake District by Robert Orrell. Hey, it has ponies, and the Lakes.
There's some other books I've acquired recently lying on the table, waiting to be catalogued, so I may as well add them here.
Drama in the Air: Extraordinary True Stories of Daring and Courage by John Beattie;
The Gentlewomen by Laura Talbot;
Travels in a Thin Country: A Journey Through Chile by Sarah Wheeler;
The Magnetic North: Travels in the Arctic by Sarah Wheeler;
Impostors by Sarah Burton;
The Seventh Tower: The Fall by Garth Nix (in bad condition);
The Gods of Roman Britain by Miranda J. Green (Shire Archaeology Series)
and
Flightwise: Principles of Aircraft Flight by Chris Carpenter.
I'm pretty sure there are also some books upstairs that haven't managed to be listed here. It's been a bad time.
